Our approach

Change that starts in the body.

Body first, heart included, mind along for the ride. The goal isn't insight. It's change that shows up in your life.

From chaos to clarity.

We start where most approaches don't: in the body, in the present moment, in what's alive right now rather than what the story says happened. From there, we make the invisible visible: the patterns, the meanings, the triggers running quietly underneath your decisions.

Then we build. Not just understanding, but embodied change that shows up in your relationships, your work, and how you move through the world.

1

Get present

We start with what's here now: not the story about it, but the live experience underneath. What does your body know that your mind is avoiding?

2

See the pattern

Most chaos has a logic to it: triggers, interpretations, meanings you've been making without realizing it. We make those visible.

3

Build something new

We create embodied change: the kind that shows up in your relationships, your decisions, your life.

Three things we bring to every session.

01

Curiosity over prescription

We come to sessions with presence and curiosity rather than a plan, following your lead and trusting the process. When you sense that your guide has no agenda other than your growth, something opens up. That's where the work starts.

02

From the inside out

Most people try to think their way to change. We start with the body, with what's present below the level of thought. Transformation happens when you embody something new, not just understand it. The mind follows; it doesn't lead.

03

Find the beauty in it

Hard work doesn't have to feel like suffering. As things start to loosen, so do you, and the heaviness gives way to something lighter. There's room for depth and laughter in the same session, often in the same breath.

What a session feels like.

People often come in expecting something clinical: a structured intake, a treatment plan, homework. What you'll find instead:

A real conversation

An open exchange where one of us holds the clarity while you do the exploring. It feels less like an appointment and more like being met.

No agenda, no script

We follow where you go. Some sessions go deep fast. Some circle something slowly. Both are right.

Laughter and weight, sometimes in the same breath

The work is serious. The experience doesn't have to be. We've had breakthrough moments mid-laugh.

Something that sticks

You'll walk away with more than insight. You'll feel something shift, and it will carry into how you live.

Two people in a meaningful conversation
Open space, clarity
"We follow where you go. We hold the clarity so you can do the exploring."
The HCS approach

Things people ask before they reach out.

Is this therapy?
No. We're coaches, not licensed therapists. We work without clinical constraints, which means we can go places most practitioners can't. We get in the mud with you, share our own experience when it's useful, and work with you wherever you are in the world. If you ever need clinical support for a diagnosed condition, we'll always say so and point you in the right direction.
How is this different from conventional therapy or life coaching?
Therapy tends to look backward, to find and process what caused the pain. Life coaching tends to stay surface level: goals, accountability, habits. We work in the present, at the level of the body and the patterns underneath behavior. Side by side:
Conventional therapy Heart Centered Success
Aims to reduce suffering, looks to the past for answers Aims to generate meaning, works in the present to build the future
Clinical distance is required, so your practitioner can't really know you Real relationship is the work. We show up as full human beings
Diagnosis-first, so your experience is filtered through labels and insurance codes Curiosity-first. We follow where you go with no predetermined path
Bound by geography: if you move, you lose your therapist We work with you wherever you are, physically and emotionally
Practitioners are trained to keep their own experience out of sessions Our experience is part of the work. We share it when it's useful
Do I need to be in crisis to work with you?
Not at all. Some of our best work happens with people who are doing fine on paper but know something is missing. You don't need a reason beyond wanting more clarity in your life.
I've tried therapy before and it didn't work for me. Why would this be different?
The most common thing we hear from people who've done therapy is that they got insight. They understood their patterns, but nothing changed. We start in the body, not the head: less about understanding more, more about embodying change that shows up in your life.
How long does this take?
There's no set timeline. Some people feel a significant shift after a handful of sessions. Others work with us for a year or more and find it becomes part of how they move through life. We don't lock you into a program. We go at the pace that's right for you.
Do you work remotely?
Yes, and we're built for it. We work with clients all over the country. If you move, we move with you.
